The SafeHands Central Management system captures all patient visit information. This information is held in a database and can readily be reported on.

The reporting mechanism is Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. This is an industry standard reporting tool. No separate licencing is required to use it.

The variety of reports that can be produced are limited only by the users’ requirements, and may range from simple data reports to charts. Such reporting can track hospital aversions analysed by Healthcare Professionals, by team and by service. They can help to keep track of the clinical circumstances of the entire patient population, for example the percentage of the case book suffering from COPD. Reports can also provide simple statistics regarding Healthcare Professionals such as frequency of visits, actions taken on visit and so on.

SafeHands security conforms to industry standards by storing the data in the mobile units on a Microsoft SQL Server Database with 128-bit encryption.

The system is also password controlled only allowing appropriate access. If a mobile unit should be lost or stolen, it would be virtually impossible for the data to be retrieved by an unauthorised user.
